I completely agree you because I also feel that “cultural shaming” has taken place in the family of Lia because of “cultural discontinuity” and a lack of cultural awareness among members of two different cultures. I feel that empathy is missing in the hearts and minds of individuals of two different cultures. This is why things like inappropriate medication happens when the doctor and the patient are of two different cultures.
